i feel like i am the only one obsessed with these clutches. then again, i tend to be a fan of object accessories (think glasses, bowties, or t shirt shaped necklaces) but golly. These pretty clutches by Judith Leiber are stunning! i would love a pretty sparkly collection of all of them!

Mr. Oscar de la Renta, how i love you

I had one of those, pinch me i must be dreaming moments.
Welcome to the start of the most amazing day ever (seriously). Team Couture Beauty all awoke to an early but excited morning at around 3:30 am, packed their gear and were on their way to the Beverly Wilshire Hotel to meet their call time at 6:30 am.

I started my morning with some coffee, orange juice and a bagel. And surprisingly for the crack of dawn, all interns, make up artists, hair stylists, and models all shared the bubbly vibe of sparkles and smiley faces to be currently in the same building as the man himself, Oscar de la Renta!

After shooting the talented Couture Beauty team at their finest work, us interns headed back stage to unpack the off the runway (aka touched by oscars own godly hands himself) gowns and Fall 2010 RTW collection. It was unreal being so close and personal with the spectacular and intricate classic Oscars, i was melting and hardly containing myself.

With much steaming of heavenly organze and beadwork (and so so much more) we were set up at station to get the show on the road. twenty models, sixty looks!

There is nothing that beats the energy of runway! And when Oscar himself found his way backstage for the grand finale, (after which I changed my model three times successfully :) ) i might have died a little. What more can I say, thank you team couture beauty for sewing a smile across my face for the month!

before we get down to business...

couture beauty interns frolicking amongst the 7 am streets of rodeo dr, beverly, and wilshire.. oh troubleee
my all black couture beauty team outfit of the day!

good night and good morning oscar de la renta

its true its true.. or is it? are my dreams beginning to come ridiculously true. i will be working an oscar de la renta show tomorrow! DIE.
i should be heading my excited self to bed right about now, considering the 4 am wake up call and the 6 30 call time in beverly hills. wish me luck, cause Mr. de la Renta will be there himself!

its here!

oh! we cant forget the magic kingdom

california adventures

is it too early to start a birthday wishlist?

of course not! its one more week away!
item number one:
the leica digital

see the nice things about little cameras is you can pop them right in your purse. just incase your frolicking in a fitting room, you can snap a few here and there, keep everything well documented. unfortunately, my camera nearly fits nowhere. and this little baby takes the happiest pictures! my most wanted, of course

omg omg omg

omgosh! it has been an entireee week. dear me. if any of you have ever seen my little wall-e esque laptop, you'll understand the importance of portable in my life. unfortunately, i didnt prepare for the evils of not having antivirus and now i am melancholy over the loss of my poor little computer. point being, i am currently typing away on the wonders of a laptop from the nineties, so be patient with me, as blogger doesnt seem to be supported on this computer.

to catch you up, ive been on two disneyland trips since, and got quite a few deals on the forever 21 sale rack, pictures promptly :) my birthday weekend is right around the corner:) yay

oh we cant forget LA!

With all my adventures lately i realized i had forgotten to even come close to posting my day in next door neighbor LA! before our voyage me and gino decided wed take a day enjoying the smog and traffic before we spent a few days onboard a beautiful ship, maybe to just apprciate a cruise a little bit more.

A day filled with Fashion (gosh i love my street style bear), Hollywood Boulevard frenzy, and the Skateboard Culture exibit at the California Heritage Museum.

Of course however, there is only one proper way to end a day in LA and thats by my FAVORITE icecream parlor in the world!
im literally like a kid in a candy store, except add the vegan friendly icecream (which is actually deeelish), free toppings, and some really kooky and unique flavors. Scoops is famous for their creative and wacky flavors, from Jalapeno Gouda (which Gino tried and said tasted exceptionally accurate), Goat cheese and rice cake, Strawberry and Balsamic, Rosewater Saltwater, Vanilla Bean Jim Bean, and some fun (less intimidating) flavors such as white chocolate toffee (yum!), salty chocolate, caramel machiatto, and pear and lychee sorbet (to name a few).
with two scoops starting at two dollars, scoops definitely makes me one happy camper :)
