i spent the day on a field trip with my pretty friend Spencer! Even though the only exhibits that really excited us was the ancient jewelry, we managed to have fun frolicking in picture perfect spots :)

minimally disco
ive been going a little minimal lately, with the hot summer days and my time off work. but on a night going out i remembered the rule that any black dress can never fail. i fell in love with these tights and splurged uncontrollably, but they seem to make everyone of my outfits. as for my shoes, what can i say, they make me dance. turntable necklace, have you noticed all my jewelry seems to be object pieces haha

mermaid attraction
for some reason i can never feel exactly comfortable in these baby sequined shorts. they are so fabulous i feel daring everytime i put them on. it was a challenge finsing something tame to calm these down without looking like a colorblock, but with my forever 21 bow t shirt, i was very happy to say the two were a pair for fine eyes. as for my shoes, urban outfitters mary janes, and my $3 shoulder bag velvet clutch :)

my favorite
i cannot seem to break out of habit of colored pumps. these babis at h&m have been the comfort and joy of my feet. and with red being my not nearly new favorite color, you will also be seeing these around this fall. as for the rest of my outfit, my favorite blazer for a STEAL at deelux, favorite lace floral dress at h&m, and belt from top shop. im sorry i just liked this picture. :)

peek into my closet
well this is another peek into my closet, i got those super shiny shoes at buffalo and i swear to god it was like dorothy moment for the 21st century all over again. ill get a better picture soon enough, but my new inch and a half heels are beaded and sequined to perfection. you will be seeing much of them this fall :)

Good Eats: The Wood Spoon
if theres one thing that keeps this formerly fat kid couple happy, its food. visit the wood spoon in downtown la and make sure not to arrive between 3-5 as they are sadly closed for their own lunch hour. So after ginos little heart was broken to the news of us arriving at 3 pm and having to wait another 2 hours before we could have what we came for, we can both well say it was SO worth the wait. ENjoy a few, and i apologize for forgetting the picture of Ginos lunch, his ground pork burger was eaten before i had the chance.
